An Anglo- American affair
This cool little wedding took place at Elvey Farm (where this Surrey wedding photographer is the official snapper) and saw the coming together of two families from either side of The Pond. Wesley and his family are from LA and – such a friendly bunch they were too, I even met his uncle form West Virginia. And Caroline is from the East Midlands, they met mid Atlantic aboard a cruise ship where Wesley worked lighting the stage and Caroline as a dancer and decided to tie the knot in deepest Kent, amongst the wheat fields and oast houses of The Garden of England. I think you’ll agree it was a very stylish do which lead Simon from Elvey Farm to see if we could feature it in a magazine. So we submitted it to A Kentish Ceremony who featured a nice spread on it and has so far lead to at least a few enquiries.
A nice little story is that Caroline’s dress was a vintage number, purchased second hand and altered to fit her. It’s original owner was another American, a lady who married a US airforce man in New Jersey in the 1940s. You can see a photo from that wedding was featured at Wesley & Caroline’s do in Kent.
Anyway, I hope you like the photos.
